Kiev forces violate ceasefire 27 times over the week

Donetsk, Jan 15 – DAN. Ukrainian forces violated the Additional Measures to Strengthen the Ceasefire 27 times over the past week, said DPR People’s Militia deputy chief-of-staff Eduard Basurin.

“Ukrainian fighters violated the Additional Measures to Strengthen the Ceasefire 27 times over the past week,” he said.

Engineer works to equip Ukrainian positions were reported in Avdeyevka, Vodyanoye, Maryinka, Chigirey and Taramchuk.

Earlier reports said that Kiev forces violated the ceasefire six times in 24 hours on the Donetsk and Mariupol axis.

The Additional Measures to Strengthen the Ceasefire were signed at the Contact Group meeting on July 22 to reinforce and control the indefinite ceasefire in effect since July 21, 2019, the latest in the series of more than 20 reconfirmation and announcements of the “silence regime”.
