Kiev forces violate Additional Measures to Strengthen the Ceasefire 179 times

Donetsk, Oct 9 – DAN. Ukrainian armed formations have violated the Additional Measures to Strengthen the Ceasefire 179 times since they came into force on July 27, said DPR Militia deputy chief-of-staff Eduard Basurin.

“We have recorded 179 violations of the Additional Measures since they came into force,” he said.

On 76 occasions ban on opening fire was violated; 25 UAV launches were recorded; 78 cases of engineer works on positions were recorded.

Most violations were reported in 53rd, 54th, 35th, 36th, 79th, 56th brigades.

The Additional Measures to Strengthen the Ceasefire were signed at the Contact Group meeting on July 22 to reinforce and control the indefinite ceasefire in effect since July 21, 2019, the latest in the series of more than 20 reconfirmation and announcements of the “silence regime”.
