Ukrainian forces fire 47 rounds at DPR territory over 24 hours – JCCC

Donetsk, Dec 26 – DAN. Ukrainian army units violated the ceasefire twice over the past 24 hours firing 47 rounds of ammunition at the Donetsk People’s Republic territory, the DPR Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination reported on Thursday.

“Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian armed formations violated the ceasefire twice expending 47 rounds of ammunition,” the report said.

Strikes were delivered at the Staromikhailovka settlement on the Donetsk axis and the 6/7 Colliery settlement on the Gorlovka axis.

The enemy used 82mm mortars, infantry fighting vehicle cannons and grenade launchers. The amount of expended ammunition of calibre up to 12.7mm is not added to overall daily statistics.

Earlier reports said that a civilian was wounded in Gorlovka and four houses and a utility shed were damaged in Staromikhailovka in western Donetsk in shelling by Ukrainian forces.

In the previous reporting period, Ukrainian army units fired more than 100 rounds of ammunition at DPR areas.*jk
