JCCC reports new shelling damage to western Donetsk housing

Donetsk, Dec 25 – DAN. Four houses and a utility shed were damaged as Ukrainian forces shelled the Staromikhailovka neighbourhood in western Donetsk, the Donetsk Republic Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination reported on Wednesday.

“Today, at 15:05, Ukrainian armed formations fired BMP-1 infantry fighting vehicle cannons towards Staromikhailovka,” the report said. “Damage was recorded at the following locations: Shevchenko Street 40, 44, 46 and 51 and Sovetskaya Street, 10.”

Four houses and a utility shed were damaged. There were no civilian casualties, the JCCC added.

Earlier reports on Wednesday said that a civilian was wounded as Kiev forces shelled Gorlovka. The strike also damaged utility sheds in the northern part of the town.*jk
