Contact Group discusses POW swap at video conference

Donetsk, Dec 23 – DAN. Contact Group have begun a video conference to discuss the POW exchange, DPR Foreign Ministry said.

“The videoconference began at 2.15 p.m.; the key issue on the agenda is coordination of the POW exchange on the “all identified for all identified” basis,” the statement reads.

On December 9, Paris hosted a summit of the leaders of the “Normandy Four” states (Germany, Russia, France, Ukraine). In the course of the negotiations, the parties prepared a document stating that a number of accords had been reached. One of the expected results was the decision to carry out a prisoner exchange in Donbass under the “all identified for all identified” principle before the New Year.*ot
