42 new COVID-19 cases reported in DPR over 24 hours, 27 patients recover – Health Ministry
Donetsk, Aug 25 – DAN. Forty-two new COVID-19 cases have been confirmed in the Donetsk Republic over the past 24 hours, the DPR Healthcare Ministry reported on Tuesday.
The novel coronavirus infection was diagnosed in four people who arrived from Ukraine. The others got infected after contacts with people who had caught COVID-19 earlier. There are 12 medics among the new patients. The patients’ condition is satisfactory, the DPR Healthcare Ministry said.
Twenty-seven people have fully recovered and left hospitals and two patients have died since Monday.
The DPR currently has 2,364 confirmed COVID-19 cases; 1,152 patients have convalesced and 130 have died. Ukraine has reported 1,658 new COVID-19 cases over the past 24 hours; 108,415 people have got infected with novel coronavirus and 2,318 have died in Ukraine since the beginning of the pandemic.*jk
