Pasechnik calls for equal rights of Ukraine, Donbass in intl arena

Donetsk, Dec 17 – DAN. The position of the Donbass Republics in the international arena must be taken into account, Lugansk Republic Head Leonid Pasechnik said at joint press briefing with DPR leader Denis Pushilin on Tuesday.

“I’m calling upon the leaders of the western Minsk Agreements guarantor countries, the UN Security Council, the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe to provide assistance in that not only Ukraine, but we, too, are heard and that our viewpoint is represented in the international arena,” Pasechnik said.

“It is the necessary rule, crucial for creating conditions for productive talks,” he said.

Earlier, DPR Head Denis Pushilin said that Kiev had to begin coordinating Package of Measures issues with the Donbass Republics.*jk
