DPR Emergencies Ministry bomb disposal team renders safe 60 UXO this week

Donetsk, Jul 29 – DAN. DPR Emergencies Ministry explosive ordnance disposal teams deactivated over 60 explosive objects in a week, said acting head of public and international relations department of the Ministry Natalia Getova.

“Bomb disposal teams of the Emergencies Ministry have been alarmed 58 times this week and rendered safe 61 explosive objects, explored 11 ha of territory, 100 km of highways and 2,200 sq m of premises.”

The DPR Emergencies Ministry explosive ordnance disposal technicians regularly search for and deactivate explosive remnants of war, such as mines planted by the enemy, UXO and other objects.
