JCCC observers spot Ukrainian UAV moving towards Kominternovo in southern Donbass

Donetsk, Aug 17 – DAN. Ukrainian army violated the ban on employing UAVs as their operation was reported in southern Donbass, the DPR mission to the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) said.

“At 2.55 p.m. a quadcopter-type UAV of the Ukrainian army was spotted at 150 m altitude moving from Talakovka towards Kominternovo,” the report reads without providing further details on the UAV’s mission.

The Additional Measures to Strengthen the Ceasefire were signed at the Contact Group meeting on July 22 to reinforce and control the indefinite ceasefire in effect since July 21, 2019, the latest in the series of more than 20 reconfirmation and announcements of the “silence regime”.
