DPR reveals 106 COVID-19 cases among travelers from Ukraine

Donetsk, Aug 14 – DAN. Coronavirus infection was confirmed for 106 patients who arrived from Ukraine via humanitarian corridors, the DPR Health Ministry said.
“The coronavirus infection was revealed with 106 people who arrived from Ukraine since June 25, 2020.”
All the infected people have been transferred to specialized medical institutions.
The DPR suspended the operation of crossing points on the contact line in March to prevent the import of the coronavirus infection. In June, the humanitarian corridor in Elenovka was established to let people across the border in urgent cases. This week, the corridor opened on August 10, more than 140 people crossed the border.
To enter the DPR, travelers must be granted clearance from the anti-coronavirus HQ; for exit, they must have a registration in Ukraine. Travelers entering the Republic are subject to a free of charge 14-day quarantine.*ot
