DPR reports 230 new COVID-19 cases in 24 hours

Donetsk, Jan 20 – DAN. DPR has registered 230 new cases of COVID-19 as the total number of confirmed cases climbed to 18,379, the Ministry of Health said.

Out of 513 tests 225 returned positive on January 19; five patients were diagnosed based on symptoms, the Ministry said.

In the past 24 hours, 106 people were discharged from hospitals after testing negative twice; 22 virus-related deaths were reported.

The total of 10,268 patients recovered, while 6,485 are being treated; the total of 1,626 died.

Ukraine reported 4,383 new cases in 24 hours, the total number of cases surpassed 1,1 million, of those 21,258 died. *ot
