United Donbass Foundation approves 29 mln rubles aid to the needy in 2019

Donetsk, Apr 3 – DAN. The United Donbass Foundation has allocated 28.8 mln rubles to people in challenging circumstances since the beginning of 2019, the press service of the organization said.

“There were six meetings in 2019, during which the commissions approved 844 requests for the total amount of 28,835,000 rubles (442,328 USD),” the statement reads.

Another package of requests will be reviewed on April 4.

Since the foundation began functioning, it has allocated more than 283 million rubles to people in need.

The Donetsk Republic set up the United Donbass Foundation in March 2017 as part of the Donbass people reunification humanitarian programme. Its objective is to help people in a difficult situation both in the DPR and Kiev-held areas of the Donetsk region.*ot
