United Donbass Foundation pays over RUR 51 mln worth of benefits in 2019

Donetsk, Jun 11 – DAN. The United Donbass Foundation has paid benefits to more than 1,500 needy residents since the beginning of this year, Foundation chairman Oleg Balykin said at a press briefing at the Donetsk News Agency on Tuesday.

In 2019, benefits to the tune of 51.13 million rubles were provided to 1,531 Donbass residents,” Balykin said.

The Foundation has paid a total of 308 million rubles to 8,667 applicants since the beginning of operation, he added.

The Donetsk Republic set up the United Donbass Foundation in March 2017 as part of the Donbass people reunification humanitarian programme. Its objective is to help people in a difficult situation both in the DPR and Kiev-held areas of the Donetsk region.*jk
