DPR reports 159 new COVID-19 cases in 24 hours

Donetsk, Oct 28 – DAN. DPR has registered 159 new cases of COVID-19 as the total number of confirmed cases climbed to 6,262, the Ministry of Health said.

“The Ministry of Health reports that tests revealed 159 cases of COVID-19 in the DPR on October 27.”

In the past 24 hours, 140 people were discharged from hospitals after testing negative twice; 17 virus-related deaths were reported, among those men aged 61-84 and women aged 51-76.

The total of 2,815 patients recovered, while 2,964 are being treated; the total of 483 died.

The health authority said that in Ukraine 7,474 new cases had been reported in 24 hours, the total number of cases was at 363,075, of those 6,755 died. *ot
