Russia closes checkpoints with DPR for non-citizens to avoid Covid-19 spread

Donetsk, Mar 18 – DAN. Russia has restricted entry to its territory from the DPR with the exception made for Russian citizens, the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation told DAN.

“The entry is temporarily limited for people who have no Russian citizenship. For those who have Russian passports the entry is allowed,” the interlocutor said.

The registration in Russia is not required for entry.

The restriction under the Russian Government’s decree No 635-r dated March 16 is part of measures to prevent the Covid-19 spread.*ot
