DPR militia downs Ukrainian drone outside Gorlovka – Bezsonov

Donetsk, May 21 – DAN. Donetsk Republic militiamen shot down a Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicle in the Gorlovka area, DPR Militia spokesman Daniil Bezsonov said on Tuesday.

“Ukrainian gunmen on the Gorlovka axis tried to use the UAV for reconnaissance and subsequent fire adjustment,” Bezsonov said. “The drone was spotted on time and shot down thanks to skilful and coordinated actions of our militiamen.”

The incident occurred on May 20. The drone belonged to the Ukrainian army’s 30th Mechanised Brigade, he added. *jk
