Ukrainian forces shell two villages in DPR’s Novoazovskiy district – Yakubov

Donetsk, May 30 – DAN. Ukrainian army units fired mortars at the Novaya Tavriya village in the Donetsk Republic Novoazovskiy district on Thursday afternoon, head of the DPR Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination Ruslan Yakubov said.

“From 12:15 to 13:00, Ukrainian forces opened fire with mortars at Novaya Tavriya in the DPR’s Novoazovskiy district,” Yakubov said. “Two 120mm mortar rounds were fired.”

In another strike at the DPR delivered at noon, Ukrainian forces fired eight grenade launcher (AGS) rounds at the Dzerzhinskoye village in the same district.

Earlier reports on Thursday said that Kiev forces violated the ceasefire 11 times over the past 24 hours firing more than 100 rounds of ammunition at DPR areas. Donetsk and Dokuchayevsk infrastructure sustained shelling damage.*jk
