Ukrainian informant helps DPR detain saboteur squad

Donetsk, May 27 – DAN. An informant in the 53rd Ukrainian army brigade helped DPR to neutralize a saboteur squad outside Donetsk on May 22, said the head of the DPR People’s Militia command press service Daniil Bezsonov.

“We were aware of the Ukrainian plans to carry out attacks on our territory. One of the squad members decided to collaborate with us in advance, before they embarked on the mission.”

A Ukrainian saboteur-reconnaissance squad was detained by DPR defense forces on May 22. Explosives, fake DPR documents and uniform were seized from the troops. The investigation has revealed that the group had plotted attacks against the OSCE SMM members. *ot
