Pushilin signs decree on Year of Russian Culture in DPR

Donetsk, Feb 4 – DAN. Donetsk People’s Republic Head Denis Pushilin on Thursday signed a degree on the Year of Russian Culture in the DPR in 2021.

Under the document published on Pushilin’s official website on Thursday, an organising committee will draw a plan of events for the year and submit it to the DPR leader for approval.

The 34-member committee will include officials from the administration of the DPR leader, ministries and departments, parliamentarians and activists.

The decree came into force on the date of publication.

Pushilin announced the Year of Russian Culture at the Russian Donbass international forum on January 28. “We want to not only preserve the originality of our cultural and historical heritage, but also to augment it,” the DPR leader said.*jk
