Kiev forces launch attack on Kominternovo using BMP-1 armament

Donetsk, Nov 30 – DAN. Ukrainian forces shelled Kominternovo in the DPR south on Monday, the DPR mission to the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) said.

The shelling was recorded at 3.35 p.m. originating from Talakovka, six rounds of a BMP-1-type IFV were fired. Small arms were also employed.

The BMP-1 is the first mass-produced infantry fighting vehicle (IFV) of the Soviet Union. It is equipped with a 73 mm smoothbore short-recoil semi-automatic gun, a 7.62 mm coaxial machinegun and a launcher for the Malyutka anti-tank wire-guided missile (ATGM).*ot
