DPR repels infiltration attempt outside Shirokino, one troop captured

Donetsk, Apr 12 – DAN. The DPR Defense has thwarted a Ukrainian sneak mission outside Shirokino, said the head of the DPR People’s Militia command press service Daniil Bezsonov.

“A group of enemy troops was spotted outside Shirokino; it had to retreat to initial positions after a brief exchange of fire suffering losses of one killed and two wounded.”

They have also left one wounded soldier on the battlefield, who was evacuated by the DPR People’s Militia and handed over to state security.

The incident took place on April 11.

On the previous occasion, a Ukrainian sabotage group attempted to infiltrate the DPR on April 7 outside the Oktyabr checkpoint.*ot
