Ukrainian forces fire51.5 tons of rounds since previous Contact Group meeting – JCCC

Donetsk, Jul 17 – DAN. Ukrainian army units have violated the ceasefire 312 times firing 4,731 rounds of ammunition at the Donetsk Republic since the previous meeting of the Contact Group in Minsk on July 2,2019. The statistics were presented at the Contact Group security subgroup meeting in Minsk on Wednesday, Donetsk Republic representative at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination Ruslan Yakubov said.

“Over the period from July 2 to July 16, 312 ceasefire violations committed by the Ukrainian side were recorded.”

Ukraine expended 51.5 tons of rounds. Over the reporting period, one civilian was killed, four injured, 151 houses and infrastructural facilities were damaged.

The most intensely shelled areas were Donetsk outskirts, Gorlovka, Yasinovataya, Vasilyevka, Dokuchayevsk.
