Kiev army violates ceasefire seven times over 24 hours, shells five DPR settlements – JCCC

Donetsk, Apr 23 – DAN. Ukrainian army units violated the ceasefire seven times over the past 24 hours firing some 40 rounds of ammunition at the Donetsk Republic territory, head of the DPR Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination Ruslan Yakubov said on Tuesday.

“Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire seven times expending 35 rounds of ammunition,” Yakubov said.

Strikes were delivered at the city airport area, the Alexandrovka and Vesyoloye neighbourhoods in Donetsk outskirts, the Mineralnoye village outside Makeyevka and the Zaichenko village in southern DPR, he added.

The enemy employed 120mm and 82mm mortars, infantry fighting vehicle cannons, grenade launchers and high calibre small arms.

The amount of expended ammunition of calibre up to 12.7mm is not added to overall daily statistics.

On Wednesday evening, a house was damaged in shelling by Ukrainian forces in Alexandrovka in western Donetsk.

In the previous reporting period, Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire seven times firing some 50 rounds at DPR areas.*jk
