DPR militia repels Ukrainian marines on Mariupol axis – spokesman

Donetsk, Jul 2 – DAN. Ukrainian marines’ casualties amounted to ten in a failed raid in the Mariupol area, Donetsk Republic Militia spokesman Daniil Bezsonov said on Tuesday.

“A group of 36th Brigade commandos met with resistance and retreated as its losses amounted to four dead and six wounded,” Bezsonov said.

The Ukrainian army’s 36th Marines Brigade commanded by Andrey Gnatov is deployed in the southern part of the front and has delivered strikes at the Republic’s territory.

Earlier reports said one DPR militiaman had been killed and another three had been wounded in shelling by Ukrainian forces over the past 24 hours.*jk
