One militiaman killed, three wounded in Ukrainian strikes – Bezsonov

Donetsk, Jul 2 – DAN. One militiaman has been killed and another three have been wounded in shelling by Ukrainian forces over the past 24 hours, Donetsk Republic Militia spokesman Daniil Bezsonov said on Tuesday.

“One militiaman was killed and three wounded in strikes delivered by Ukrainian armed formations,” Bezsonov said.

Over the past 24 hours, strikes were delivered on the Donetsk, Gorlovka and Mariupol axes, he added. The enemy used 152mm and 122mm artillery, 120mm and 82mm mortars and other weapons.

Ukrainian army units opened fire at the DPR territory 35 times over the designated period expending more than 500 rounds of ammunition. A civilian was wounded as Kiev forces shelled the Alexandrovka neighbourhood in western Donetsk on Tuesday morning.*jk
