Ukrainian attack on Oktyabr leaves 6 houses damaged, 2 destroyed

Donetsk, Aug 12 – DAN. Eight houses have been damaged in Oktyabr in the DPR south this morning as a result of Ukrainian attacks, the DPR People’s Militia said.

“According to latest reports, Oktyabr came under shelling launched by the 36th brigade; eight residential houses have been damaged on the Zvezdnaya street, two of them have been completely destroyed.”

The township remains without gas and power supply. Repairs are underway.

An indefinite ceasefire came into force in Donbass in the night of July 20-21 as it has been agreed to by the Contact Group in Minsk.

The new ceasefire agreement includes provisions for disciplinary measures against perpetrators, ban on offensive, sabotage and reconnaissance operations, ban on any fire including sniper fire, deployment of heavy weapons to populated areas and, first of all, civilian infrastructural objects such as schools, kindergartens, hospitals and public places. *ot
