DPR intl boxing tournament gathers 138 athletes from five countries

Donetsk, Feb 14 – DAN. An international boxing tournament which began in Donetsk on Thursday brought together 138 athletes from the Donetsk Republic, the Lugansk Republic, Abkhazia, South Ossetia and Nagorno Karabakh.

The tournament marks the 31st anniversary of the Golden Gloves club. It is held at the Zaperevalskiy House of Culture in the DPR capital’s Budyonnovskiy district.













The athletes are divided into three age groups: 13/14, 16/17 and 18/19.

An award giving ceremony and a show will end the tournament on February 16. The winners will get certificates, medals, trophies and presents.*jk
