COVID-19 cases top 10,000 in DPR since beginning of pandemic – Health Ministry

Donetsk, Nov 24 – DAN. The number of COVID-29 infections diagnosed in the Donetsk Republic since the beginning of the pandemic has exceeded 10,000, the DPR Healthcare Ministry reported on Tuesday.

“As of 10:00, November 24, the DPR had 10,004 confirmed COVID-19 cases on record,” the report said.

DPR medics have confirmed 160 new COVID-19 cases since Monday; 246 people have been discharged from hospital and another ten patients have died over the past 24 hours, the Ministry said.

According to the latest reports, 4,843 people have come through the illness in the Republic, 925 have died and the rest are continuing treatment as in- or outpatients.

Ukraine has reported 12,287 new COVID-19 cases over the past 24 hours; 647,976 people have got infected and 11,263 have died in Ukraine since the beginning of the pandemic.*jk
