DPR passports issued to more than 500,000 residents – Migration Service

Donetsk, Sep 18 – DAN. More than 550,000 people have obtained passports of the Donetsk Republic, the DPR Interior Ministry Migration Service told the Donetsk News Agency on Friday.

“As of September 15, 2020, the Interior Ministry Migration Service had issued 550,473 Donetsk Republic passports,”  it said.

The DPR began to issue passports to its citizens in 2016. To get a passport, the applicant has to take an electronic queue coupon at an office of the Donbass Post state-owned enterprise.

DPR passport is the key requirement for obtaining fast track Russian citizenship.*jk
