Ukrainian army lost 800 killed and wounded in 2020
Donetsk, Jul 1 – DAN. Ukrainian army losses have exceeded 800 killed and wounded since the beginning of the year, the DPR People’s Militia HQ said.
“In 2020, DPR Intelligence confirmed 216 Ukrainian troops killed, 602 wounded.”
The majority of losses were accounted for as non-combat, resulting from friendly mines explosions, suicides and military hazing.
Combat losses amounted to 68 killed and 255 wounded.
These true number are significantly higher that official figures filed by the JFO command: 35 killed and 176 wounded. *ot
