Water supply to Donetsk to be reduced due to DFS halt until Dec 4

Donetsk, Nov 30 – DAN. The water supply to some areas of Donetsk will be limited until December 1 due to the halt of the Donetsk water treatment plant (DFS), the Voda Donbassa state water company said.

“From December 1, starting at 3 p.m. until December 4, 11 a.m., the DFS will be stopped following the request of a power supplying company,” the press statement reads.

Water supply to the Kuibyshevskiy and Petrovskiy districts will be reduced by 35 pc, the supply to the Verkhnetorezkoye, Vasilyevka and Kiev-controlled Avdeyevka will be fully stopped.

The DFS supplies water to both sides of the contact line: DPR-controlled Donetsk, Yasinovataya, the Vasilyevka and Spartak villages, parts of Makeyevka, and Kiev-controlled Avdeyevka, Krasnogorovka and the Verkhnetoretskoye villages. The overall number of its customers exceeds 400 thousand. *ot
