JCCC reports new violations of additional ceasefire control measures by Ukraine

Donetsk, Aug 11 – DAN. The Donetsk People’s Republic Office at the Joint Centre of Control and Coordination (JCCC) has recorded new facts of engineer works at Ukrainian army positions in Donbass.

Engineer works were recorded in Kiev-controlled territory near the Vodyanoye village outside Volnovakha and the Shumy settlement near Gorlovka at 10:45, the JCCC said.  Also, enemy forces movement was observed in the first case.

The above facts qualify as violations of the Additional Measures to Strengthen the Ceasefire which came into force on June 27, 2020 upon their coordination by the Contact Group participants. The measures prohibit the use of any kind of armaments, flights of aircraft and commando operations.

A ban is imposed on offensives, i.e. any attempts to change the position of troops, further organising of positions and any movement of armed persons towards the enemy.*jk
