Maryinka civilian killed in Ukrainian-staged skirmish

Donetsk, Dec 18 – DAN. Civilian has been killed in Ukrainian-controlled Maryinka west of Donetsk as a result of fire exchange organized by Kiev forces, the DPR People’s Militia said.

“To provoke retaliatory fire from the DPR forces and blame the Republic for ceasefire violation as the Contact Group was holding a meeting Ukrainian forces set up a shooting on the Maryinka outskirts killing a civilian who died because the JFO command does not control its personnel,” the report reads.

The provocation was organized by the members of the 28th separate mechanized brigade of the Ukrainian armed forces. The shooting was witnessed by Ukrainian and American journalists.

Donetsk has called on the international community to record the war crime against civilians.
