Humanitarian subgroup to focus on missing persons search mechanism – DPR Ombudswoman

Donetsk, Dec 18 – DAN. Humanitarian subgroup of the Contact Group shall focus on enhancing mechanism of the search for missing persons in Donbass, said DPR Ombudswoman Daria Morozova.

“In view of the recent Normandy Four Summit, the issues of interviews, POW exchanges finalizing exchange lists, legal clearance shall be in focus,” she said.

“Safety of detainees shall also be discussed. A special discussion will be organised over the mechanism of search for missing persons,” Morozova said.

Following the N4 Summit Ukrainian Foreign Minister Vadim Pristaiko said that the negotiators had agreed to allow the ICRC representatives to visit detainees in DPR prisons. *ot
