DPR COVID-19 cases top 18,000 – Health Ministry

Donetsk, Jan 19 – DAN. Two hundred and forty-four new COVID-19 cases have been recorded in the Donetsk People’s Republic over the past 24 hours, the DPR Healthcare Ministry reported on Tuesday.

“DPR medics carried out 696 tests on January 18; 234 people tested positive and another ten showed clinical and epidemiological signs of COVID-19,” the report said.

Thirty-eight patients have recovered and another 20 have died since Monday.

The DPR currently has 18,149 confirmed COVID-19 cases, 6,383 people continue in- or outpatient treatment, 10,162 have recovered and 1,604 have died, according to the latest reports.

Ukraine has reported 3,939 new COVID-19 cases over the past 24 hours; 1,167,655 people have got infected and 21,046 have died in Ukraine since the beginning of the pandemic.*jk
