Ukraine Security Service recruits DPR residents at crossing point – People’s Militia

Donetsk, Jan 18 – DAN. Ukrainian Security Service has activated operations to recruit DPR residents and relatives of the DPR service members at the Elenovaka-Novotroitskoye crossing point.

“Most cases reported by residents took place at the Elenovaka-Novotroitskoye crossing point. After people cross into Ukraine, the Security Service members stop them to check documents, and make them pass information on objects located in the DPR under duress, saying that otherwise people’s families in Ukraine will face serious problems.”

Such complains come both from relatives of the DPR service members and residents who have no relation to the army whatsoever.

The DPR state security warns that Republic’s residents should avoid any personal dialog with Ukrainian officers, sharing contacts, accepting remunerations, signing written commitments. In case a person is being threatened the DPR state security recommends to accept offers but never fulfill the tasks and report the recruitment to the DPR authorities as soon as possible. *ot
