DPR identifies Ukrainian brigade commander responsible for shelling Staromikhailovka houses

Donetsk, Feb 3 – DAN. The DPR has identified Ukrainian commander responsible for shelling Staromikhailovka and damaging two residential houses, said the head of the DPR Militia HQ.

“Ukrainian gunmen of the 28th brigade opened aimed fire with BMP-1 guns at residential houses in Staromikhailovka prompting civilians to hide in basements following the command of a war criminal Marchenko,” the report reads.

The BMP-1 is a Soviet amphibious tracked infantry fighting vehicle. Main armament is the 73 mm 2A28 “Grom” low pressure smoothbore semi-automatic gun.

A coaxial 7.62 mm PKT machine gun is mounted to the right of the main armament. An ATGM launcher is mounted on the gun mantlet.*ot
