DPR Air Defense thwarts Ukrainian terrorist attack on Donetsk

Donetsk, Jun 5 – DAN. The DPR People’s Militia has thwarted a Ukrainian terrorist attack on the Tekstilschiki district in Donetsk, said the head of the DPR Militia command press service Daniil Bezsonov.

“Ukrainian fighters of the 24th brigade have launched an unmanned aerial vehicle; it was downed by our Air Defense.”

The incident took place in the Tekstilschiki district where the Muslim community celebrated the Uraza Bairam (Eid-Al-Fitr) holiday marking the end of Ramadan.

On Tuesday morning, Kiev forces shelled the Ahat Jami mosque in Donetsk’s Oktyabrsky district as the Uraza Bayram (Eid al-Fitr) holiday celebration was underway marking the end of Ramadan.*ot
