Morozova, Frazer meet in Donetsk to discuss prisoner exchange, handover of convicts to Kiev

Donetsk, Apr 4 – DAN. Donetsk Republic ombudswoman Darya Morozova met with head of the UN human rights monitoring mission to Ukraine Fiona Frazer, the ombudswoman’s press service reported on Thursday.

“On April 3, DPR ombudswoman Darya Morozova met with head of the UN human rights monitoring mission to Ukraine Fiona Frazer to discuss prisoner exchange between the DPR and Ukraine, prison conditions and the handover of the convicts wishing to serve their sentences in Ukraine,” the press service said.

Current cooperation issues were considered as well.

“At the end of the meeting, the participants thanked each other for their open positions and strong commitment to the protection of human rights and freedoms,” according to the press service.
