Donetsk, Apr 19 – DAN. The Donetsk Republic Prosecutor General’s Office opened criminal cases against senior Ukrainian army commanders complicit in the shelling of DPR areas, the PGO press service said.

“Criminal proceedings were opened against Ukrainian army commanders over strikes delivered at DPR areas on April 17 and 18, 2019,” the report said.

The suspects were identified as Ukrainian army 57th brigade commander Anatoliy Mishanchuk, and 30th Separate Mechanised Brigade commander Ivan Garaz. Criminal cases are opened under Art.229 s.1, p. a, c.

These strikes ordered by the suspects damaged five houses in Gorlovka and a house in Donetsk.*ot
