Kiev refuses March 29 POW swap proposed by Donbass – Nikonorova

Donetsk, Mar 27 – DAN. Kiev has refused to harmonize the exchange lists and possible swap date of March 29, said DPR Foreign Minister Natalia Nikonorova.

“In accordance with Part 1 f the draft Protocol, on the POW exchange, we tabled and forwarded finalized lists of people to be liberated (who are currently in the DPR and LPR).”

The plan was to exchange detainees on the “19 for 16” basis.

“We were ready for it and willing to carry out the swap on Sunday, March 29, nevertheless, the Ukrainian side refused to accept its 19 people without any obvious reason. They refused the lists and the date,” Nikonorova said. *ot
