Four sika deer arrive to DPR natural park

        

Donetsk, Jan 17 – DAN. Four sika deer have arrived to one of the DPR largest zoos in Pridorozhnoye, the park’s director Gennadyi Kryazhev said.

“Four spotted deer arrived in January, they are one year old. We used to have sika deer earlier, but they were killed in 2014 when shells hit the zoo,” he said.

Kryazhev said that new arrivals are expected: a panther from Russia should be joining the park in late January. It will be the first such feline for the park.

The Pridorozhnoye Zoo was founded two decades ago, currently it houses more than 20 thousand mammals, birds, reptiles, insects and fishes.*ot
