Donbass gets closer to the ultimate goal of unifying with Russia – Pushilin

Donetsk, Jun 12 – DAN. The DPR Head has congratulated the Republic on the Day of Russia, celebrated in the DPR officially as a state holiday for the first time.

“This year the DPR is celebrating the date as a state holiday for the first time ever. Six years ago we unanimously voted for the way to the Russian Federation and we are moving towards it step by step,” he said in the speech published on his website.

Pushilin said that the Republic is shifting to Russian standards in all the spheres.

“We are Russians by nature, we speak one and the same language, share one culture, one history, same values.”

He has also expressed gratitude to the Russian President Vladimir Putin and all Russian citizens for support and assistance. *ot
