Kiev reacts to Donbass propositions on special status first time ever

Donetsk, Jun 10 – DAN. The Ukrainian side in the political subgroup has reacted to DPR and LPR propositions concerning the Donbass special status for the first time, said DPR Foreign Minister Natalia Nikonorova.

“We have obtained the first document in the history of the political subgroup, it was Ukrainian reaction to our propositions on amendments to the Donbass special status law. We have reviewed the draft and provided the feedback.”

She said the Ukrainian document was a far cry from what should be added to the law as it previews only a “mechanical addition” to one of the articles without amending other articles.

Nikonorova reminded that in addition to the amendments, the whole range of legal aspects of the Donbass special status must be reviewed and coordinated during the Contact Group meetings. *ot
