48 new COVID-19 cases confirmed in DPR over 24 hours – Health Ministry
Donetsk, Aug 6 – DAN. Medics in the Donetsk Republic have diagnosed nearly 50 new cases of novel coronavirus infection over the past 24 hours, the DPR Healthcare Ministry reported.
“August 5 tests revealed 48 new COVID-19 cases; three of the infected arrived from Ukraine and one from Russia,” the report said.
Others got infected after contacts with people who had caught COVID-19 earlier. The condition of the patients is satisfactory. One person has been discharged from hospital and three people have died since Wednesday.
The DPR currently has 1,914 confirmed COVID-19 cases; 860 patients have convalesced and 111 have died. Ukraine reported 76,808 COVID-19 cases over the same period; 1,819 people died. Over the past 24 hours, 1,318 people in Ukraine have tested positive for COVID-19.*jk
