JCCC: Kiev forces fire over 130 shells at DPR in 24 hours

Donetsk, Jan 14 – DAN. Ukrainian army units expended over 130 shells targeting DPR territory in the past 24 hours, violating the ceasefire 11 times, said DPR representative at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) Ruslan Yakubov.

“Ukrainian armed forces fired 131 rounds. The number of ceasefire violations is 11,” he said.

Yakubov said the fire was opened on northern Donetsk (Volvo Center), Spartak, Zhabichevo; Staromikhailovka, Shirokaya Balka, Dokuchayevsk, Leninskoye.

The enemy used 82 mm mortar rounds, grenade launchers and small arms of large caliber. Sniper fire was reported.

Ammunition under 12.7 mm caliber is excluded from daily reports.

A multi-apartment house in Dokuchayevsk came under shelling in the evening, windows were shattered.

In the previous reporting period, Ukrainian forces violated ceasefire seven times.
