DPR militia reports explosions in Ukraine-controlled Novomikhailovka village outside Donetsk
Donetsk, Aug 8 – DAN. A series of explosions occurred in the Ukraine-controlled Novomikhailovka village southwest of Donetsk, the Donetsk Republic Militia reported on Thursday.
“Our observers at the contact line on the Donetsk axis are now recording explosions in the Ukraine-controlled territory in the Novomikhailovka area,” the report said. “There have been 15 such blasts within an hour since noon.”
According to the Militia information, a unit of the Ukrainian army’s 24th Brigade has a field depot in the designated area.
“Local residents said that two ambulances had driven to the scene; shortly thereafter, one of them, with activated flasher, headed towards Kurakhovo,” a Militia officer said.
The explosions occurred at a distance of more than 3.5 kilometres from the contact line, the Militia report said.*jk*pp
