Ukrainian forces fire 45 rounds of ammunition at DPR over 24 hours, damage recorded – JCCC

Donetsk, Sep 4 – DAN. Ukrainian armed formations violated the ceasefire ten times over the past 24 hours firing 45 rounds of ammunition at the Donetsk Republic, head of the DPR Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination Ruslan Yakubov said on Wednesday.

“Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian armed formations violated the ceasefire ten times expending 45 rounds of ammunition,” Yakubov said.

Strikes  were delivered at Gorlovka’s township Zaitsevo, the Trudovskaya Colliery neighbourhood in the western outskirts of Donetsk, Dokuchayevsk and the Leninskoye and Kominternovo villages in southern DPR, he added.

The enemy used 82mm mortars, grenade launchers and high calibre small arms. The amount of expended ammunition of calibre up to 12.7mm is not added to overall daily statistics.

Earlier reports said that a kindergarten in western Gorlovka was damaged in shelling by Ukrainian forces.

In the previous reporting period, Ukrainian army units violated the ceasefire 12 times firing more than 100 rounds at DPR areas.*jk
