DPR plans to reconstruct 400 damaged private houses in 2020

Donetsk, Oct 2 – DAN. Repair works on 225 private houses damaged during the military action shall be finalized by the end of 2019, 400 more shall be reconstructed in 2020, the Republic’s Construction and Housing and Public Utilities Minister Sergey Naumets said on Wednesday.

“By the end of the year, 225 private houses should be reconstructed. Next year, the program assisted by humanitarian missions shall cover 400 private houses.”

The Ministry launched the repair program in August, currently 25 objects are being repaired in Donetsk and its region. In the first seven months of 2019, repair workers assisted by humanitarian missions repaired over 300 private houses in eight towns. The total number of private houses damaged in the military action across the Republic is 22,323 while 8,470 have been repaired. *ot*pp
