Ukrainian forces fire grenade launcher at village in southern DPR

Donetsk, Sep 25 – DAN. Ukrainian forces fired at the Leninskoye village in the south of the Donetsk Republic, the DPR Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) reported on Friday.

“At 10:50, Ukrainian forces opened fire at the Leninskoye village; one underbarrel grenade launcher round was fired and small arms were used as well,” the report said.

At 10:40 Ukrainian servicemen fired ten small arms rounds at the Luganskoye settlement southwest of Donetsk, the JCCC said.

Earlier reports on Friday said that Ukrainian armed formations had violated the ceasefire twice over the past 24 hours.

The package of tighter ceasefire control measures came into force in Donbass on July 27, 2020. The document bans the use of any weapons, deployment of hardware, special operations, engineer works and unmanned aerial vehicles flights.*jk
